I feel like Democrats should be more worried about the red wave tsunami heading directly toward them
The complacency on display is really weird
You don’t know who Dylan Mulvaney is and you don’t care, nor should you have to, but in any event he’s an increasingly popular TikTok star with legions of followers who has become famous for his really nauseating burlesques of “being a girl,” as below:

Mentally unwell dude, sick creepy stuff, and again none of it would matter but for the fact that Joe Biden inexplicably invited this deeply ill man to the White House this past week as part of a “presidential forum:”
This is really odd. I’m not referring to the grotesque, nightmarish miasma of mutilative degeneracy so prominently exemplified by this man here; that is horrifying enough but at this point it’s kind of a known known. The more baffling question is why, two weeks out from the midterms and amid punishing, frightening inflation and a looming economic recession—why would the White House invite this man to interview the president about his weird socio-sexual fixations? Who approved this?
This is very strange and I cannot make heads or tails of it. If I had to wager a guess I’d assume that the White House believes this will excite enough young hard-left progressives to measurably swing the vote in Georgia and Pennsylvania and maybe Nevada; Democrats need that cushion for the Senate and they know it now. But of course every sop to your political allies is a slap to your political opponents, and what exactly do you think conservatives and moderates and normal progressives see when they lay eyes on this? Grocery bills are going up every week, gas prices are still 60% higher than when Biden took office, we’re on the cusp of a possible major downturn… and Joe Biden is warmly agreeing with a man dressed up like a woman that doctors should be able to cut off the sexual organs of young boys and girls. What do they think this is going to accomplish?
I just find it stunning. It seems there are two possibilities to explain this: Either Democrats think that they can politically compartmentalize this weird depravity, using it as a sop to LGBT-obsessed younger voters without affecting the normal voter outreach machine; or else they think that the majority of Democratic voters are okay with this sort of thing and will be encouraged by it. Neither are true. This kind of advocacy—mainstreaming mental illness and chid mutilation—is deeply repellent to most people, even if they’re too nervous to admit it. And once you’re aware that someone is in favor of it you can’t forget it. “I never voted for anybody,” W.C. Fields once remarked, “I only voted against.” That’s generally how it goes. And it does not take much persuading to vote against a political party where grown men are publicly feted for their creepy girly dress-up games while presidents announce their support for juvenile cosmetic castration. You could print up that circular on a Panasonic Matrix and hang it on your local library’s bulletin board and still get a landslide in November.
But, again, why are Democrats not more concerned about this? The party may have descended into an almost-comical sort of moral dissolution, but the people running the numbers behind the scenes most assuredly understand what’s coming, and they should be dissuading this and ordering the White House to immediately pivot 100% to normal economic stuff. It’s very weird that this isn’t happening. Democrats may have embraced a truly crazy ideology but I did not think they had surrendered their good sense as fulsomely as this. I suppose they’ll figure it out probably around 4am on November 9 this year. Spare a thought for them when you wake up refreshed and well-rested that morning!
